In a show specially composed for the 10 cabinets of the Art Museum Appenzell, contemporary art from a collection in Eastern Switzerland presents an art collection that has been lived, developed and amalgamated by a collector for over 40 years.The paintings, sculptures, objects, graphics by Ernesto Baltiswiler, Mark Francis, Bernard Frize, Rolf Iseli, Anne Marie Jehle, Imi Knoebel, Xavier Noiret-Thomé, Boris Nieslony, Jürgen Partenheimer, Markus Raetz, Liddy Scheffknecht, Roman Signer, Bernard Tagwerker, Franz Erhard Walther, Isolde Wawrin, Franz West, Stephen Westfall, Kelly Wood, Erwin Wurm, Daniel Zimmermann & Beat Zoderer develop an extraordinary aesthetic presence in the special architecture of the Appenzell Art Museum.
