Xavier Noiret-Thomé at BAM Mons: "Le Voyageur et son ombre".

Description

The BAM collection as seen by Xavier Noiret-Thomé: « Le Voyageur et son ombre ».

To extend the discovery, BAM (Beaux-Arts Mons) has given carte blanche to contemporary Brussels artist, Xavier Noiret-Thomé. Echoing the exhibition route, the artist poetically revives BAM's emblematic collections from the second half of the 20th century - Fontana, Matisse, Delahaut, Alechinsky, Asger Jorne, Peter Saul and many others - and puts them in dialogue with his personal works, thus completing in his own way Miró's reflection on art and its roots.
