PLUS-ONE Gallery presents the solo booth by Sergio De Beukelaer at Art Antwerp (by Art Brussels).

The solo presentation ‘- re.SET ...’ shows a new body of work by Sergio De Beukelaer. After a period of focusing on intense primary colors, this time De Beukelaer highlights on muted and soft colors. The white elements contribute to an objectivity and emphasize the importance of the muted colors, the color accents are in turn subtly incorporated. It also questions the basic form of De Beukelaer’s iconic "fat.canvas". The works for ‘- re.SET ...’ are actually re-assembled. The incomplete images refer to a mixture of bodies and buildings. The contours act as graphic support and emphasize the idea of a building element. Is the construction a security, a connection or a protection?
