Josse Pyl at PLUS-ONE Projects and Publiek Park 2025

In the end of August PLUS-ONE Projects proudly presents a solo exhibition by Josse Pyl. Known for his sculptural and graphic explorations of language, symbols, and the body, Pyl creates a distinct visual grammar that blurs the boundaries between communication and abstraction.

This summer, Pyl will also be one of eleven artists participating in Publiek Park 2025, a two-part exhibition unfolding across the historic sites of Plantentuin Meise and Jardin Botanique de Bruxelles. Each artist will show new, site-responsive works in both locations, navigating themes such as shifting ecologies, colonial legacies, and contemporary fictions.

Pyl’s contribution, developed with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Mondriaan Fonds, continues his research into language as a cultural construct, materialised in both sculptural and ephemeral forms.
